David C. Jensen lectures at Civil Trial Skills CLE seminar for National Business Institutes
On December 16, 2011, David Jensen served as faculty and presented at a seminar titled “Building Your Civil Trial Skills.” The seminar was hosted by National Business Institute. Since 1983, National Business Institute has been one of the largest providers of legal and professional education in the nation, serving over two million professionals. David spoke at this seminar regarding “How to Present your Civil Case.” Topic areas discussed by David included: opening statements, effectively using evidence to support your case, tips and techniques for direct examination, successful cross-examination, objections, and closing arguments. David was also asked to speak on “How to Handle Post-trial Issues.” Topic areas discussed by David included: judgments, motions after the verdict, and appeals.
David is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Law. He maintains a general civil litigation practice, including products liability defense, medical device defense, professional liability defense, insurance coverage litigation, health care, municipal defense, and appeals. In 2010, David was the recipient of the Lifetime Diplomat Award from the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana.
