David Jensen receives Lifetime Diplomat Award from Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana
Eichhorn & Eichhorn LLP's managing partner, David Jensen, was presented the Defense Trial
Counsel of Indiana's Lifetime Diplomat Award, given annually to an Indiana attorney who is adjudged to have
achieved distinction among advocates "through outstanding contributions to the representation of
clients in the defense of litigation matters." The recipient of this award is chosen each year by a DTCI
Board committee, which is composed of defense attorneys from around the state.
In over 37 years of civil trial practice, Jensen has tried approximately 140 cases to verdict, most of
them successfully. His appellate casework has been equally prolific, having written or argued briefs
to the Indiana Supreme Court, Indiana Court of Appeals, and Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals in
over 150 cases. He was admitted to practice in Indiana in 1971, and in Illinois in 1975. In addition
to being admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of Indiana and the Seventh Circuit
Court of Appeals, he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. Among his
professional memberships, David has been elected a fellow of the American College of Trial
Lawyers and the International Society of Barristers. For the past seven years, he has been named by
Indiana Super Lawyers as one of the top lawyers in Indiana.
