Claim:
Plaintiff claimed a number of physicians failed to properly treat his wife, who unfortunately succumbed to cancer.
Outcome:
Directed verdict for the defendant pathologist.
The Court found, following a jury trial, that the Plaintiff had failed to sufficiently present expert testimony to support Plaintiff's claim for medical malpractice against the Defendant pathologist. The Honorable Judge John Pera of the Lake County Superior Court sitting in Crown Point ordered a directed verdict in the pathologist's favor upon motion and argument of defense counsel.
